Illinois High School Soccer - Lemont nudges Batavia
October 4, 2023: Lemont, IL 60439 Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lemont HS face the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Lemont will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
The Bulldogs now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metea Valley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 7. Batavia will face a Mustangs team coming off a 0-0 non-league Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.
