Missouri High School Softball - Salisbury holds off North Shelby
October 4, 2023: Shelbyville, MO 63469 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Salisbury Panthers (Salisbury, MO) and the host North Shelby Raiders (Shelbyville, MO), witnessed Salisbury's softball squad tip North Shelby by a count of 3-1.
The Panthers now sport a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Brookfield for a non-league test on Thursday, October 5. Salisbury will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Trenton (Trenton, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-10.
The Raiders (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Westran (Huntsville, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Westran tipped New Franklin (New Franklin, MO), 7-4, in a league test.
