The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA) and the visiting South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA), witnessed Alpharetta's football squad topple South Forsyth by a count of 37-20.

The Raiders (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Longhorns enter the AAAAAA Region 6 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lambert was outscored by North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), 24-21, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the War Eagles confront the West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 contest, on Friday, October 11. South Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
