Ohio High School Football - Ansonia tops National Trail

The Ansonia Tigers football squad scored 44 points and limited the host National Trail Blazers to 14 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-County North for a Western Ohio test on Friday, October 11. Ansonia will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 55-8 league loss to Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, National Trail drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH) to meet the Blackhawks in a Western Ohio test on Friday, October 11. The Blackhawks come into the test with a record of 2-5. Mississinawa Valley won 36-6 in their recent league test against Bradford (Bradford, OH)
