Louisiana High School Football - Ascension Episcopal wallops North Vermilion

The Ascension Episcopal football squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting North Vermilion Patriots to 18 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gueydan for a 1A District 6 test on Friday, October 11. Ascension Episcopal will meet a Bears squad coming off a 56-8 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, LA). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, North Vermilion drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Comeaux (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Spartans in a 4A District 4 test on Friday, October 11. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-6. Comeaux lost 48-13 in their recent league test against Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA)
