October 4, 2024: Rotan, TX 79546 The Aspermont Hornets football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Rotan Yellowhammers to 6 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rule for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 8 (6 Man) test on Thursday, October 10. Aspermont will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 67-22 non-league win over Harrold (Harrold, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Rotan drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Yellowhammers host Westbrook (Westbrook, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 7 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-2. Westbrook won 76-52 in their recent non-league test against Garden City (Garden City, TX)
