In Friday's league match, the host Cedar Catholic Trojans football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Battle Creek Braves.

The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Indians enter the C2 District 3 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Ponca was nudged by Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE), 44-8, in a league match.
