Oklahoma High School Football - Bethany can't hold off Blanchard
October 4, 2024: Blanchard, OK 73010 Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK), 48-44 in a league battle.
With the win, Blanchard improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK) to play the Savages in a 4A District 2 battle on Thursday, October 10. The Savages go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Tecumseh lost 49-21 in their recent league battle against Harrah (Harrah, OK)
The Bronchos now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Tuttle for a 4A District 2 battle on Friday, October 11. Bethany will play a Tigers team coming off a 61-0 league win over Madill (Madill, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
