October 4, 2024: Alexandria, KY 41001 Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY), 21-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Bishop Brossart advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Holy Cross (Covington, KY) to encounter the Indians in a 1A District 4 battle on Friday, October 11. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Holy Cross won 38-8 in their recent non-league battle against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY)
The Greyhounds now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Nicholas County for a 1A District 6 battle on Friday, October 11. Paris will encounter a Bluejackets team coming off a 58-30 league win over Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Bluejackets record now stands at 4-3.
