The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons felled the visiting Castro Valley Trojans football team by a score of 39-9 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons play the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge, on Friday, October 11. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 13-12 league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA).

The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Mariners go into the West Alameda County - Foothill challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Moreau Catholic toppled James Logan (Union City, CA), 26-22, in a league challenge.
