Kentucky High School Football - Breathitt County loses to Somerset
October 4, 2024: Somerset, KY 42501 Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) followers went home pleased Friday as they observed their football squad defeat the visiting Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY), 42-21 in a league outing.
The Briar Jumpers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danville for a 2A District 6 outing on Friday, October 18.
With the defeat, Breathitt County drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A District 6 outing on Friday, October 18. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-2.
