In Friday's non-league match, the host Brick Memorial Mustangs football squad scored a good 24-7 triumph over the Southern Regional Rams.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Panthers come into the Shore - A South match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Point Pleasant Boro defeated Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 40-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) in a Shore - B South match, on Friday, October 11. Southern Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
