October 4, 2024: Buffalo, WY 82834 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverton Wolverines (Riverton, WY) and the host Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WY), witnessed Riverton's football squad edge Buffalo by a count of 16-15.
The Wolverines (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lander Valley (Lander, WY). The Tigers enter the 3A East contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Lander Valley was nudged by Douglas (Douglas, WY), 20-11, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Bison confront the Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY) in a 3A East contest, on Friday, October 11. Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Trailblazers enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 42-14 league win over Rawlins (Rawlins, WY).
