In Friday's league game, the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) football team overcame the visiting Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), by a tally of 47-21.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific game, on Friday, October 11. Burroughs will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 49-3 league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).
