October 4, 2024: Clinton, LA 70722 The Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA) football knocked off the visiting Cathedral Green Wave (Natchez, MS), 41-20 in Friday's league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brookhaven Academy for a MAIS 5A District 3 test on Friday, October 11. Silliman Institute will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 49-20 non-league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Cathedral drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS) to meet the Bruins in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 1-4. St. Joseph Catholic lost 56-7 in their recent league test against Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS)
