Texas High School Football - Center Point sneaks past Sabinal

October 4, 2024: Sabinal, TX 78881

The Center Point Pirates football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Sabinal Yellowjackets to 27 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Junction for a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 11. Center Point will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 76-0 league win over Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Sabinal drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Brackett (Brackettville, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 11. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Brackett won 40-2 in their recent league test against La Pryor (La Pryor, TX)
