New Smyrna Beach Barracudas (New Smyrna Beach, FL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 63-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, New Smyrna Beach improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Barracudas travel to Pine Ridge (Deltona, FL) to play the Panthers in a 4A District 6 battle on Friday, October 11. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Pine Ridge lost 15-12 in their recent league battle against Deltona (Deltona, FL)

The Bears now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Crystal River for a 3A District 7 battle on Friday, October 11. Central will play a Pirates team coming off a 35-14 non-league loss to The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-3.
