West Virginia High School Football - Hancock thwarted by Clay-Battelle
October 4, 2024: Blacksville, WV 26521 Clay-Battelle Cee Bees (Blacksville, WV) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), 41-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Clay-Battelle improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Cee Bees travel to Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Meadow Bridge won 39-26 in their recent non-league battle against Gilmer County (Glenville, WV)
The Panthers now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Stonewall Jackson for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. Hancock will play a Generals team coming off a 52-16 league win over Virginia Spartans (Roanoke, VA). The Generals record now stands at 2-4.
