Ohio High School Football - Columbian thwarted by Clyde
October 4, 2024: Clyde, OH 43410 Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), 33-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Clyde improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Fliers travel to Sandusky (Sandusky, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a Sandusky Bay - Lake battle on Friday, October 11. The Blue Streaks go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Sandusky won 42-0 in their recent league battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH)
The Tornadoes now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue for a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. Columbian will play a Redmen team coming off a 19-7 league loss to Huron (Huron, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 2-5.
