October 4, 2024: Hartford, CT 06112 Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray Blue Devils (Durham, CT) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT), 29-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Capital Prep (Hartford, CT) to play the Trailblazers in a Freelance battle on Friday, October 11. The Trailblazers go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Capital Prep won 35-26 in their recent league battle against Valley Regional/Old Lyme (Deep River, CT)
The Beavers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cromwell/Portland for a Pequot - Sassacus battle on Thursday, October 10. Weaver will play a Panthers team coming off a 42-14 league win over Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
