In Friday's league match, the visiting Wylie Bulldogs football squad scored a good 29-7 victory over the Cooper Cougars.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX). The Dons enter the 5A-2 Region I District 2 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Palo Duro was outscored by Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX), 44-27, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 2 match, on Friday, October 11. Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
