In Friday's league game, the Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) football team triumphed over the visiting Greenwood Woodmen (Greenwood, IN), by a tally of 44-7.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN) in a Mid-State game, on Friday, October 11. Decatur Central will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 41-21 league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, IN).
