Wisconsin High School Football - Monroe tops Delavan-Darien
October 4, 2024: Delavan, WI 53115 The Monroe Cheesemakers football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Delavan-Darien Comets to 13 in the Cheesemakers league triumph on Friday.
The Cheesemakers now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evansville for a Rock Valley test on Friday, October 11. Monroe will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 23-7 league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, WI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Delavan-Darien drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to East Troy (East Troy, WI) to meet the Trojans in a Rock Valley test on Friday, October 11. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-6. East Troy lost 42-8 in their recent league test against McFarland (McFarland, WI)
