October 4, 2024: Mt. Morris, MI 48458 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) and the host Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), witnessed Durand's football squad knock off Mt. Morris by a tally of 53-23.
The Railroaders (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Birch Run (Birch Run, MI). The Panthers enter the Mid-Michigan contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Birch Run was toppled by Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI), 30-14, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a Mid-Michigan contest, on Friday, October 11. Mt. Morris will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 41-7 league loss to New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI).
