Louisiana High School Football - Live Oak can't hold off East Ascension
October 4, 2024: Gonzales, LA 70737 The East Ascension Spartans got by the visiting Live Oak Eagles football team by a score of 18-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Prairieville Hurricanes (Prairieville, LA) in a Freelance challenge, on Friday, October 11. East Ascension will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Hurricanes go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 39-6 league loss to Walker (Walker, LA).
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the 5A District 5 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Denham Springs nipped Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 38-12, in a non-league challenge.
