Mississippi High School Football - Eupora can't hold off Union

Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS), 35-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Union improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Forest (Forest, MS) to play the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Bearcats go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Forest won 13-0 in their recent league battle against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS)

The Eagles now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host J.Z. George for a 2A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 11. Eupora will play a Jaguars team coming off a 44-14 league loss to Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-4.
