West Virginia High School Football - Meadow Bridge tops Gilmer County

October 4, 2024: Glenville, WV 26351

The Meadow Bridge Wildcats football squad scored 39 points and limited the host Gilmer County Titans to 26 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clay-Battelle for a non-league test on Friday, October 11. Meadow Bridge will meet a Cee Bees squad coming off a 41-13 non-league win over Hancock (Hancock, MD). The Cee Bees record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Gilmer County drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV) to meet the Red Devils in a Little Kanawha test on Friday, October 11. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 0-5. Ravenswood lost 41-0 in their recent league test against Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV)
