October 4, 2024: Wellman, TX 79378 The Grady Wildcats football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Wellman-Union Wildcats to 6 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Buena Vista for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 11. Grady will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Wellman-Union drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Borden County (Gail, TX) to meet the Coyotes in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 3 (6 Man) test on Thursday, October 10. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 3-3. Borden County won 56-8 in their recent non-league test against Anton (Anton, TX)
