October 4, 2024: Hanover Township, PA 18706 The Hanover Area Hawkeyes football team (Hanover Township, PA), was crushed 55-7 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA)
With the win, Wyoming Area advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warriors host Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA) to encounter the Knights in a Wyoming Valley 2 bout on Friday, October 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Lake-Lehman won 42-0 in their recent league bout against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA)
The Hawkeyes now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia Montour Vo-Tech for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. Hanover Area will encounter a Rams team coming off a 29-24 non-league loss to Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.
