October 4, 2024: Howard, SD 57349 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) and the visiting Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD), witnessed Howard's football squad knock off Hanson by a tally of 36-6.
The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Blue Dragons enter the Cornbelt (9 Man) contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Garretson was toppled by Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD), 42-0, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Beavers battle the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) in a Cornbelt (9 Man) contest, on Friday, October 11. Hanson will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 68-25 league win over Chester (Chester, SD).
