October 4, 2024: Hill City, SD 57745 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) and the visiting Philip Scotties (Philip, SD), witnessed Hill City's football squad wallop Philip by a tally of 53-0.
The Rangers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Kougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Kadoka crushed Bennett County (Martin, SD), 34-14, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Scotties confront the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) in a Western Great Plains (9 Man) contest, on Friday, October 11. Philip will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 36-22 league loss to New Underwood (New Underwood, SD).
