In Friday's league match, the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters football squad scored a good 42-20 victory over the Huron River Rats.

The Railsplitters (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Saline (Saline, MI). The Hornets enter the Southeastern - Red match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Saline thwarted Bedford (Temperance, MI), 48-3, in a league match.

Coming up next, the River Rats confront the Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI) in a Southeastern - Red match, on Thursday, October 10. Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Kicking Mules enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 48-3 league loss to Saline (Saline, MI).
