The Lake Norman Charter Knights walloped the visiting SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles football team by a score of 50-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley challenge, on Friday, October 11. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 21-7 league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC).

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Lions enter the NCISAA Big 6 challenge with a 3-2 record.
