Missouri High School Football - Washington tops Liberty
October 4, 2024: Lake St. Louis, MO 63367 The Washington Bluejays football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Liberty Eagles to 34 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.
The Bluejays now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Point for a Gateway - Central test on Friday, October 11. Washington will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 37-35 league loss to Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Liberty drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO) to meet the Lions in a Gateway - Central test on Friday, October 11. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-4. Fort Zumwalt East lost 52-14 in their recent league test against Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO)
