St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA) supporters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad edge the host Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA), 43-37 in a league contest.

The Saints (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, CA). The Mustangs enter the North Central I contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Middletown was nudged by Willits (Willits, CA), 14-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the Clear Lake Cardinals (Lakeport, CA) in a North Central I contest, on Friday, October 11. Lower Lake will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 41-19 league loss to Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA).
