October 4, 2024: Presho, SD 57568 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) and the host Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD), witnessed New Underwood's football squad knock off Lyman by a tally of 36-22.
The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes enter the Western Great Plains (9 Man) contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Jones County was toppled by Wall (Wall, SD), 62-8, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Raiders battle the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) in a Western Great Plains (9 Man) contest, on Friday, October 11. Lyman will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Scotties enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 53-0 non-league loss to Hill City (Hill City, SD).
