The Meridian Mustangs walloped the visiting Parkview Christian Patriots football team by a score of 54-16 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Harvard Cardinals (Harvard, NE) in a D6 District 2 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 11. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 60-7 league loss to Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE).
