The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) and the visiting North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders (North Brunswick, NJ), witnessed St. Joseph's football squad knock off North Brunswick by a tally of 40-14.

The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Phillipsburg gained a win over West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 21-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the North Brunswick Raiders confront the Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. North Brunswick will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 19-13 non-league loss to Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ).
