In Friday's non-league game, the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) football team edged the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ), by a tally of 35-34.

In their next game, the Paladins battle the Bergen Catholic Crusaders (Oradell, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 12. Paramus Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 24-20 league win over Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ).

The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Edison (Edison, NJ). The Eagles enter the Big Central - National Silver game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Edison held off Colonia (Colonia, NJ), 27-21, in a non-league game.
