October 4, 2024: Ragland, AL 35131

The Ragland Purple Devils football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Valley Head Tigers to 7 in the Purple Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Purple Devils now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appalachian for a 1A Region 8 test on Friday, October 11. Ragland will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 46-21 league loss to Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Valley Head drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Woodville (Woodville, AL) to meet the Panthers in a 1A Region 8 test on Friday, October 11. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-4. Woodville won 45-0 in their recent non-league test against Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL)
