The Water Valley Wildcats walloped the host Rankin Red Devils football team by a score of 59-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Veribest Falcons (Veribest, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 8 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Water Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.

The Red Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden City (Garden City, TX). The Bearkats go into the 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Garden City was ripped by Westbrook (Westbrook, TX), 76-52, in a non-league challenge.
