Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Snyder Tigers (Jersey City, NJ), 32-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Shabazz advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ) to play the Colts in a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. The Colts go into the battle with a record of 2-4.

The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Immaculata for a Super - National White battle on Friday, October 11. Snyder will play a Spartans team coming off a 49-14 non-league win over Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-0.
