October 4, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78230 The Woodsboro Eagles were victorious over the host Somerset Academy Collegiate Bears football team by a score of 41-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the La Villa Cardinals (La Villa, TX) in a 2A-2 Region IV District 16 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Woodsboro will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 24-0 non-league win over Marine Military Academy (Harlingen, TX).
The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Hill Country Christian School of Austin lost by New Braunfels Christian Academy (New Braunfels, TX), 34-31, in a league challenge.
