Virginia High School Football - Twin Springs crushed by Union
October 4, 2024: Big Stone Gap, VA 24219 Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), 48-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Union improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) to encounter the Wolfpack in a Mountain bout on Friday, October 11. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Ridgeview won 55-0 in their recent non-league bout against Richlands (Richlands, VA)
The Titans now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Castlewood for a Cumberland bout on Friday, October 11. Twin Springs will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 38-12 non-league loss to Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-6.
