Connecticut High School Soccer - New Canaan knocks off Bridgeport Central
October 4, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06606 Fans at Friday's league battle between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT), saw New Canaan's soccer squad triumph over Bridgeport Central by a count of 8-0.
The Rams (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Cadets enter the Fairfield County battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, St. Joseph notched a victory over McMahon (Norwalk, CT), 4-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Hilltoppers battle the Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Monday, October 7. Bridgeport Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 3-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Wilton (Wilton, CT).
