California High School Football - Madison can't hold off Point Loma
October 4, 2024: San Diego, CA 92117 Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Madison Warhawks (San Diego, CA), 28-21 in a league battle.
With the win, Point Loma advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pointers travel to Lincoln (San Diego, CA) to play the Hornets in a battle on Friday, October 11. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Lincoln won 40-7 in their recent non-league battle against West Hills (Santee, CA)
The Warhawks now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host St. Augustine for a battle on Friday, October 11. Madison will play a Saints team coming off a 35-0 league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Saints record now stands at 2-5.
