Illinois High School Soccer - Westmont knocks off College Prep of America
October 4, 2024: Westmont, IL 60559 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) and the visiting College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL), saw Westmont's soccer squad triumph over College Prep of America by a count of 9-0.
The Sentinels (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Holy Trinity was overwhelmed by Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Thunder confront the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 8. College Prep of America will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Conquerors enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL).
