October 4, 2024: Columbia, MO 65202 Republic Tigers (Republic, MO) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO), 7-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Republic upgrades its record to 16-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Kickapoo (Springfield, MO) to play the Chiefs in a non-league game on Saturday, October 5. The Chiefs enter the game with a record of 21-4. Kickapoo won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Marshfield (Marshfield, MO)
The Spartans now own a 9-17 record. They play next when they host Camdenton for a non-league game on Saturday, October 5. Battle will play a Lakers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Webb City (Webb City, MO). The Lakers record now stands at 12-10.
