Next up, the Astros confront the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 5. Shepard will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Meteors enter the game with a 6-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL).
The Mustangs (6-17) will now prepare for their game against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Joliet Central was dropped by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
