In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Wahlert Golden Eagles.

The Hilltoppers (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Mighty Macs enter the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Mother McAuley got by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
